Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about us and the credit repair process.
What areas do you service?
The majority of our clients come from the greater Houston metro area, including Sugar Land, Pasadena, Pearland, The Woodlands, etc. We provide in-person consultations at our office in Houston for existing customers and new clients looking to join our program at 5850 San Felipe St #500, Houston, TX 77057. To schedule an appointment please call (713) 766-1595, 8am-5pm EST
How much do you charge for credit repair?
Pricing is dependent on your credit file. For example, if you only need late payments removed, that’s a far different process than getting tax lien deletions or credit card debt deletions or bankruptcy deletions. Clients who prefer a “Pay Per Delete” plan over the monthly offering, please let us know you’re considering that in your initial consultation or audit call.
Do you only dispute a certain number of negatives per month?
No. Without naming names, some of the larger credit repair companies that charge monthly fees only dispute 2 or 3 items a month, dragging your monthly fees and results out. We don’t do that. We go after every single negative item every single month, getting you through the process as fast as possible. It’s not only the ethical choice, but in our experience the profitable one too — our clients are happier and they refer more clients, helping our business grow.
Do you charge up front fees?
No. Even our audit and enrollment fee is only charged after your first round of disputes are created and sent out.
What if I I pay your fees and don’t see any results?
While this is fairly rare, we do provide a 100% money-back guarantee for our Texas residents. If we’re unable to get you any meaningful negative deletions (not including personal information like addresses), we will be happy to provide you with a full refund. We’re here to help our clients overcome obstacles, not to add new ones, and this is one of the ways we ensure that.
How long does all of this take?
While we can’t guarantee timelines, we can tell you that, on average, our customers see about a 103 FICO point increase over 180 days. Most of our clients start our program in the 480 to 600 range with a significant amount of negative items. If you don’t get any results after 90 days of our service and decide you’d like to leave our program, we’ll provide a full refund with no questions asked.
Couldn’t I just do this for free?
You could. Over the years we’ve developed highly specialized dispute letters for every situation and type of negative item imaginable, greatly increasing the odds of permanent deletions compared to standard letters most individuals write for themselves. That said, if you have all the time in the world and want to save money, doing it yourself may be your best option. Our typical client is looking to get a mortgage and/or car loan and would prefer to spend a little money to ensure the job gets done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Am I expected to do anything?
We require that you provide us updated credit reports in some fashion—typically via score trackers–and we require that you send us any responses to our disputes that the Bureaus mail you. Otherwise, we handle everything for you.
Is the process legal?
Yes. Although the Bureaus would highly prefer that you believe otherwise so that they don’t have to deal with disputes, you are empowered under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to challenge any and all information on your credit reports. Credit repair is a legal type of business that’s regulated under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
Why do so many websites have warnings about credit repair?
There have been a few fraudsters that have taken advantage of their clients overs the years. These types of companies give us and other reputable businesses a bad name unfortunately. As a result, many local government and media websites put up warnings to inform consumers to be more careful. Fortunately, we’ve been around for a long time and have a very good reputation along with a significant amount of positive reviews online, as well as a reputable BBB rating, that we hope will help you make an informed decision. We strictly adhere to the guidelines governing all credit repair companies under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and we encourage you to read those over and ensure any credit repair company you’re working with follows them.
Who are these Bureaus anyway?
TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, the “Bureaus”, are publicly traded companies, just like Walmart or Amazon, that store financial information about you. Companies then pay them a yearly fee to access this information in the form of credit reports to help them make more informed decisions.
Can I still use your credit repair service if I’m not in or from Houston?
Absolutely. We service customers from all over Texas. We even have clients who are out of country, such as those deployed in the military.
